DESCRIPTION:You are invited to participate in a Virtual Highline Community Conversation on Friday\, May 20\, 2022 from 8:30-10:00 AM. \n\n \n\nThis conversation will be focused on workforce and labor needs in our region. \n\n \n\n The meeting will include a panel discussion with Highline College faculty and staff\, breakout rooms to hear about your labor needs and observations and full group Q&A. \n\n \n\nThe panel will feature:\n\n	Shawna Freeman\, Highline College Interim Associate Dean for Student Learning & Success\n	Sam Kaplan\, Director\, Center of Excellence for Global Trade and Supply Chain Management\n	Paulette Lopez\, Highline College Dean of Instruction\, Workforce Programs\n	James Peyton\, Highline College Faculty Economics/Statistics\n	Rich Shockley\, Executive Director\, Highline Small Business Development Center and StartZone\n\n \n\nFollowing the panel there will be: \n\n\n	Breakout sessions to discuss key questions\n	Concluding Q&A discussion with all participants\n\n \n\nFuture Community Conversations are planned on a quarterly basis\, both in virtual spaces and in-person\, on-campus and in the community. \n\n \n\nTo RSVP\, please complete the Community Conversation Registration Form. \n\nFeel free to contact us at Foundation@highline.edu with any questions.
