DESCRIPTION:Join HDC and South King County Housing and Homelessness Partners (SKHHP) for a learning opportunity on permanent supportive housing. You will come out of the event with a deepened understanding of what permanent supportive housing is\, what it takes to assemble a supportive housing project and why it is the critical solution to homelessness. \n\n\n\nYou will also learn more about local efforts including the success and impact of SKC s first permanent supportive housing program\, Thea Bowman Apartments. Last year\, the project opened its doors amid a pandemic and consists of supportive housing units serving veterans and individuals who had experienced homelessness.
